The Brothers Gibb

The Brothers Gibb was formed in 2021 during the downtime of the pandemic.  Award winning entertainment producer of Magnificent Events & Entertainment and the founder of the world-renowned cover band Maggie Speaks Dave Calzaretta finally had the time to create this passion project.

“I’ve been singing since I was 14 years old and professionally since 1998 and always gravitated to my falsetto voice.  I grew up listening to and idolizing falsetto singers like the Temptations’ Eddie Kendrick and Barry Gibb and continually worked on refining this skill and technique and incorporating it into my own performances.  The Brothers Gibb is something I have wanted to create for the past 15 years and during COVID, I finally had the one commodity that I needed to make it happen…TIME!”

Calzaretta’s Barry Gibb vocals are unmatched in the industry.  With every nuance present audiences become immersed in the songs that have been such an important part of the soundtrack of their lives.  Industry veterans Jimmy Riley and Chad Burton join Calzaretta on guitar and bass respectively and are the perfect vocal compliment, filling in the Bee Gees signature three-part harmonies.

The show is a complete production, featuring all the hits beginning in the early years of the 1960’s through the late 90’s when the Bee Gee’s stopped touring.  You will hear early classics like “Massachusetts”, “I Started a Joke” and “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart” before the show boogies into the disco era with your favorites like “Jive Talkin’”, “Stayin’ Alive”, “Night Fever” and more.  Classic ballads like “How Deep Is Your Love” and “Too Much Heaven” will melt your heart.

While the Bee Gee’s performance catalog is impressive in its own right, the songs they wrote for others are also forces to be reckoned with.  Whether it is Yvonne Elliman’s “If I Can’t Have You”, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton’s “Islands in the Stream”, Frankie Valli’s “Grease” or Barbara Streisand’s “Guilty”, these #1 hits will bring you down memory lane.  And let’s not forget their baby brother Andy Gibb.  With eight Top 20 hits written by his brothers, you will hear classics like “Shadow Dancing” and “I Just Want to Be Your Everything”.

This show is a must see for any Bee Gee’s fan, in fact, any music fan.  Come see the Brothers Gibb and relive one of the most successful vocal groups of all-time.
